Got a black thumb? Sherry from Plants For All Seasons has the plants for you: Bromeliads
Dany: Maybe people have told you, you have black thumb or you kill everything you grow. Well, we got some really great plants here for you. These are bromeliads or air plants. Sherri, these are so cool.
Sherri: Yeah, and super easy to grow. Like you said, for the black thumb, it’s really hard to hurt these guys. Basically, put them inside on a counter or in a vase like this, and you just mist them once a week and feed them with a bromeliad or tillandsia food, just like this. Yeah, just super low maintenance.
Dany: Bromeliads made great gifts because literally someone can just put them on their desk. Now, they don’t grow on desks in nature. They actually will bond to a tree.
Sherri: Right. They anchor themselves onto a tree. Like in the rainforest, you would find these growing up into the trees, and they pull all their nutrients out of the air, so that’s how they grow.
Dany: So cool.
