Shawn would like to know what would be the best type of potting soil to repot a ficus in? I would say that most all tropicals and house plants are planted in some sort of peat moss based potting soil like the Pro-Mix. Pro-Mix is a light, fluffy, well-drained soil made of peat moss, vermiculite, and perlite for drainage. That would be great to keep a ficus in long-term. They’ll be happy.
