Bruce’s Brew – Premium Year Round Fertilizer

Okay, this is Bruce’s Brew. Everyone wants to know, “Who is Bruce?” Bruce was a dear friend of ours here in Bellville, Texas. He was a veterinarian for many, many years, and he did everything for the community you could ever ask for. If you needed any kind of help whatsoever, Bruce was there to help you. And he was just a real mentor for me and a lot of people here in town. He was a kingpin of our church and he was a Aggie, a very, very excited Aggie. And he called me back in the ’80s when I first started my business, and he said, “I want you to make me some fertilizer for my yard.” So, I came up with this formula, 18-4-9, 18% nitrogen, 4% phosphorus, 9% potassium. And I made it for him and he started putting it on his yard.

And everybody in Bellville started calling me, “What’d you sell Bruce?” I said, “Well, I sold,” I used to call it Bellville Brew, but then when he passed away, I changed it to Bruce’s Brew. But I’ve been making this product since the early ’80s and landscapers just love it. And this will green up your grass faster than some of my other products, but it also will last six months. So, this is really good in the early spring. If you do not have weeds, put Bruce’s Brew out. Or in the summer, if you just need to green it up a little bit, you can put this out also.

And I have on here, “Difference you can see”, and I put this area here so people can see our fertilizer, and it is better quality than our competitors. And I put on here, “Ingredients you can trust, from our family to yours.” This is a personal thing to me, I put my name on my bags. And we’re not going to ship anything out here that’s not going to be good. The best quality you can get. We’re not going to make it. So, we put our name on it and we’re proud of it.
